How Aerial Imagery Services Can Support the Law Enforcement Community (The Leading Edge Newsletter, 29-December-11)
In the final edition of 2011, Rick Bartle describes our support to community law enforcement organizations in their recent attempt to capture a potentially dangerous escaped fugitive. “ASSIST-U.S.® Expands into Marine Survey Market” (The Leading Edge Newsletter, 26-July-11)
The ebb and flow of building a small business is full of challenges, surprises, and a lot of hard work. In other words, it is never dull. These last few weeks have elevated the business development bar at ASSIST-U.S.® and challenged us to consider several different opportunities. Today, fewer people are being expected to do more lifesaving and law enforcement with fewer resources. Read on.

Cities and towns across the country are coping with various forms of pollution that negatively impact quality of life, property values, and burden taxpayers with the cost of clean-up. Even my small country neighborhood in southern New Hampshire has felt the effects of industrial pollution. Prior to 1980, over 1,600 drums of chemical waste were buried in a quarter-acre pit on a local pig farm (read story here). Read on…
